<p>Hodges is the ideal base from which to explore the vast and varied treasures
of The National Trust and English Heritage properties, castles and gardens as
well as other places of interest in the heart of the South East of England.</p>
<p>A day in France is easy by ferry from Dover to Calais as well as various other
sea routes and by train through the Channel Tunnel on Le Shuttle. Bring your
current passport and pre-book for the best fare deals.</p>
<p>Visitors are free to use the owners' grounds extending to 8 acres and providing
a wide range of attractions including formal gardens with a lake, hard tennis
court and an outdoor swimming pool. Hodges is within easy walking distance of
'Pay and Play' golf course.</p>
